Hi!

My name is John and my biggest passion is travelling. I absolutely adore spending time in new places, exploring cultures, consuming experiences, and meeting new people!

I was born in Norfolk in the UK, but ever since I was really young I’ve been fortunate enough to spend a lot of time abroad. My first experiences were all in Spain, before I was really old enough to appreciate what travel was. Still, even then I loved the unfamiliarity of everything, from the food, to attempting to play and chat with the other kids when I had no understanding of Spanish!

Since then I’ve spent a good chunk of my adult life outside of the UK, in countries such as France, Switzerland, Canada, Thailand, and Italy. Right now, I’m halfway through my 2-year working holiday visa in Canada, and I’m living in Banff, Alberta. It’s a beautiful place with lots to do and see – so for now the bulk of my posts will be about Banff and the surrounding areas.
